Development Paradigm

Lots of cryptic computer code doesn't look very pretty in a slideshow, so please allow me to expound upon my development experience using words - glorious, multi-lettered, polysyllabic words.

Strong Foundations in the Fundamentals

As a student of Computer Information Systems, i've come to a sharp grasp of the core principles of the most commonly used programming style of the web, mobile, and desktop environments. I've developed advanced database systems that use the strictest of protocols to streamline and protect the flow of information. I've designed complex frameworks that handle the user interaction with the information in these databases. I place a high emphasis on testing requirements before release in order to that ensure the integrity and operability of experience for the end-user.

I am currently a candidate for the Sun Certified Java Professional certificate, a credential that attests to expertise in Java, the grand-daddy of all object-oriented programming languages.

Devoted to Standards

My approach to development, be it on the web, mobile, or desktop, is to embrace standards and documentation whenever possible. What does this mean? This means that I am devoted to building presences that work across browsers, operating systems, and mobile phones. I try to avoid trendy code and gimmicky plug-ins as much as possible, and I make efforts to release the processing and burden away from the end-user. All this means is that I work to guarantee maximum accessibility for your users and customers.

Web-centric

Developing for the web has been the cornerstone of my programming approach. I built a complete wedding reservation system using Python and the Google App Engine web platform. I've also developed JSP + MySQL e-commerce solutions as part of my studies in web application development. I customized the slider Javascript engine that holds my Design examples and i've built fully automated contact forms for several projects. I'm also familiar with using Flash and PHP technologies for web development; in the ever-expanding and developing world wide web, it's important to remain flexible in finding solutions to meet all kinds of different needs.

Mobile-Minded

Everywhere you turn you'll hear about the mobile platform holding the next wave of innovation and business opportunity. I am likewise turned towards the future of the mobile development platform. I'm currently working on a project for the Android mobile operating system in collaboration with software engineers from Motorola. Building for the mobile is now a key component of the development work that I do for the web. Your customers are on their phones. Are you on there for them?
